Purchase Ledger Clerk

Robert Half Talent Solutions is working with a leading manufacturing business dedicated to delivering high-quality products to recruit a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the finance team on a temporary basis for a duration of 2 months.

The Purchase Ledger Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring efficient processing of invoices.

The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:

• Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Matching invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Resolving any discrepancies in invoices and escalate as necessary.
• Liaising with suppliers regarding invoice and payment queries.
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolve any outstanding issues.
• Assisting with month-end closing activities and reporting.
• Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience with accounting software
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Duration: Temporary (2 months)
