Purchase Ledger Clerk - 12 Month FTC

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager at a very well-established Global FMCG company based in Kent. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a similar role.

Duties Include:

  • Inputting invoices onto the trading and financial system
  • Coordinating Purchase Ledger accounts
  • Checking, reconciling costs relating to invoices
  • Charges against purchase orders
  • Chasing copies of supplier invoices
  • Weekly supplier payment runs, querying bank accounts details with suppliers
  • Other responsibilities to be discussed in more detail

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • FMCG Experience (Desirable)
  • An AAT Qualification (Desirable)
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
