Our client, based in Yeovil are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their small, busy and friendly team.

Offering a salary of £26,000 per annum and a holiday allowance of 21 days plus bank holiday, this is a fulltime role, based in the office 5 days per week.

If you wish to commence, or continue, your studies towards AAT qualification, then the business will offer you sponsorship and support to do so.

What are we looking for?

Previous experience of managing the purchase ledger for a busy organisation - processing and matching invoices, liaising with suppliers and customers.

Experience of working with Sage50 (or another cloud-based accounting system)

Whilst not essential, you may find that having experience of the construction industry useful.

A keen eye for detail and a conscientious nature will be key.

Intermediate competence on Excel and Outlook.

What will you be doing?

Taking responsibility for raising and sending client invoices

Processing supplier’s invoices

Supporting the Finance Manager with payroll

General office duties
