JHE & Partners are delighted to be partnering a local, successful Bradford business who are recruiting a purchase ledger clerk on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with some good purchase ledger experience, looking for a busy and diverse role.

Working as part of a wider ledger team, you will be working on the stocks and overheads of the business in this end-to-end ledger role. You will form part of an already established team of 4, at times working on your own in addition to working as part of a bigger team when the need is required. This is a fast-paced role that not only requires accuracy and precision but someone that can think outside the box and isn’t afraid to vocalise their opinion to streamline processes.

Duties include:

  • Matching, batching and coding of invoices and posting to ledger
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with multiple queries
  • Compiling information for payment runs ensuring invoices have been approved
  • Preparing BACS payments
  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Running reports on Excel
  • Ad-hoc duties

This is a permanent position to start as soon as possible but as always, the client will wait for the right candidate. You must have appropriate knowledge of purchase ledger and have the ability to multi-task due to the busy nature of the role.

The client has stipulated they will look at candidates with less experience but can demonstrate an organised approach to working as the rest can be learnt through training. Salary is c£25,000

Hours are 37.5 Monday - Friday. Please apply or get in touch for further details.
