Full Time, Temp to Perm contract (Perm position is a definite), HYBRID Working

I am recruiting for an Education Establishment based central Bournemouth, working in a small Purchase Ledger Team reporting into the Purchase Ledger Officer. This is a great opportunity to join a larger finance team, with opportunities to progress in the longer term. Please see details below

Start date: Asap
Duration: 3-6 months initially, temp-to-perm for the right candidate
Working hours: e.g. Mon - Thurs: 8:30am - 5.00pm (1 hour lunch break)
Friday: 8:30am - 4:30pm (1 hour lunch break)

Candidate Rate of Pay: £12.26 per hour TEMP and £23,907 PERM Salary + HYBRID Working ( 3 days office, 2 days at home)
Location - Bournemouth, Parking Available

Purpose of Role

  • To perform a wide range of purchase ledger activities, such as processing of purchase ledger invoices and expenses, dealing with supplier queries and performing supplier statement reconciliations.
  • To provide advice, information, guidance and support to both internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating a sound working knowledge of the Financial Regulations and purchasing and payment procedures referring more complex queries to the Purchase Ledger Officer for advice.
  • To deliver duties without the need for close supervision.
