Purchase Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to manage my clients purchasing operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling purchase quote requests, creating purchase orders, and ensuring smooth communication with suppliers and internal teams.
Day to Day of the Role:- Oversee the Purchasing email inbox, promptly responding to purchase quote requests.
- Generate accurate purchase quotes based on received requests and resolve any issues by liaising with requestors.
- Complete purchase quotes, release them to generate Purchase Orders, and manage the budget approval process.
- Keep track of approval notifications for Purchase Orders and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Adhere to the companies policies and procedures, participating in required training and development.
- Complete all duties in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
- Be adaptable to changing responsibilities and take on ad-hoc duties as needed to support the companies objectives.
- Proven experience in purchasing or a similar administrative role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using email and office productivity software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
