Public Services Lecturer

  • Salary: £30-£47ph

We are seeking a dedicated Public Services Lecturer to join our academic team in the North London area for Further Education Provider. You will be instrumental in nurturing and educating students enrolled in Level 2 and Level 3 Uniformed Services courses. Your enthusiasm for public services and commitment to academic excellence will inspire our learners to pursue successful careers in uniformed services.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Plan and deliver compelling lectures, workshops, and practical sessions in the field of Uniformed Services.
  • Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and support their academic journey.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the curriculum, ensuring it meets industry standards.
  • Offer mentorship and guidance to students, aiding them in achieving their academic and vocational objectives.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to foster a constructive and supportive learning environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree or professional qualification in Public Services or a closely related discipline.
  • A teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) is desirable, or a willingness to work towards obtaining one.
  • Practical experience in uniformed services such as police, fire services, or military is highly advantageous.
  • A strong passion for teaching and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The adaptability to meet the varying needs of students.

This role is ongoing until June 2024
