Academics Ltd is working alongside a popular and friendly Stevenage secondary school seeking a Psychology teacher to start in September. This Ofsted rated 'good' school is home to engage pupils who enjoy attending school and a supportive staff cohort.
The school located in the heart of Stevenage and has an excellent Psychology department. The school is ideally seeking a teacher with at least a year of experience however; they will consider a competent ECT with a proven record of accomplishment. The school is also open to welcoming teachers from overseas, but you must have QTS or QTLS.
The Psychology Teacher role:
- Teaching Psychology up to KS4 as a minimum
- Full teaching responsibilities including planning, delivery, and assessment.
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Working as part of the Psychology faculty supporting each other with planning and assessment
Required Skills and Qualifications for the Teacher Role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
- Experience teaching the UK Psychology Curriculum
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- The ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
