Psychology Lecturer

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate Psychology Lecturer to join our Further Education team. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of students and has a strong background in psychology. As a Psychology Lecturer within our BTEC program, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

Day to day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions to BTEC students studying psychology.
  • Develop and assess BTEC course materials, ensuring they meet curriculum standards and foster a deep understanding of psychology.
  • Provide academic guidance and support to students, nurturing their academic growth and passion for the subject.
  • Collaborate with academic colleagues to enhance the learning experience, contribute to program development, and maintain the highest educational standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A master’s degree or higher in Psychology or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching BTEC courses or equivalent qualifications.
  • Strong communication skills with a commitment to fostering student success.
Desired Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of BTEC assessment criteria and grading systems.
  • Ability to create engaging, interactive, and innovative learning experiences.
  • Proficiency with educational technology and online teaching platforms

This is an opportunity for temp to perm, Monday-Friday
