Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant | Barking IG11 | £95-£105 | Long-term to perm | Sept start

If so, then this role will be perfect for you. LTF Recruitment are looking for someone to join the outstanding team in a school in Barking. The School is in need of someone who will make the pupils feel valued and will encourage them to engage in learning. If you are someone who wants to make a difference and are passionate about working with children then look no further. This role will provide professional development opportunities and valuable experience in in supporting children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and delivering of lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Use psychology background to support students with behavioural, emotional and social needs. Will be required to implement strategies that promote positive behaviour and mental well-being.
  • Monitor pupil progress, ensuring that the teaching is effective and appropriate for the child's needs.
  • Provide individualised support by working alongside the team and focusing on 1:1 support.

Key requirements:

  • Have a relevant psychology degree.
  • Be passionate with supporting children, particularly children with special educational needs.
  • Previous successful experience within a SEN setting.
  • Must hold a valid DBS or willing to apply for a new one.
