Job Title: Proturn Engineer
Salary: £ 33,745.92 per annum
Location: Oldham
Job Type: Permanent
Working hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Friday 8am-3:30pm

My client is a long established precision engineering and fabrication company based Oldham.

You will be required to carry out repairs and make one off new components to a customer sample or sketch. Experience within a breakdown environment would be a distinct advantage.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Time-served engineer
• Extensive experience programming, setting and operating XYZ Proturn 555
• Experience programming, setting and operating XYZ Proturn 425 would be beneficial
• To have worked in a similar fast-paced environment
• Work to close tolerances and tight deadlines
• Work to samples, sketches and drawings
• Strong mechanical engineering background in light to medium engineering
• Proven experience carrying out repair work

Other information
•£16.64 per hour (pay review end of May)
• Overtime available during the week and at weekends
• 33 days holiday per annum
• Permanent role
• Immediate start
