Protection & Control Engineer
Glasgow
£47,000 to £74,000 plus car plus benefits

Due to recent wins, we are recruiting in across the UK for numerous Protection & Control Engineers.

You will be accountable for the following tasks including but not limited to:

* Carrying out detail design works including the protection and control aspects of different projects
- The work includes
- SLD,
- KLD,
- schematics,
- wiring diagrams
- functional specifications,
- setting reports,
- coordination and discrimination studies,
- telecom,
- network architecture,
- SCS,
- cable sizing and voltage drop,
- LVAC and LVDC load calculations and sizing,
- technical specification for P&C equipment,
- battery and UPS systems.

* Carry out CDAE for P&C discipline
* Carry out P&C Design Assurance activities
* Ability to attend and chair the design review and Hazard review meetings and reviewing P&C design packages as required.
* Attending site visits, FAT and SAT as required.

You'll need to have:

* HND or Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience.
* Proven extensive experience in P&C design of substations in UK
* Good knowledge of electrical codes and standards
- Full UK Driving Licence.
