Proposals Co-ordinator - Milton Keynes or London based

We have an opportunity for an Proposals Co-ordinator to join our Marketing team in either our Milton Keynes or London office.

We are looking for a proactive, energetic, and ambitious new member of the marketing team with a strong creative streak to support our busy proposals team. The ideal candidate should have strong marketing experience, particularly the use of PowerPoint to a high level.

You will need to be professional, organized, have excellent communication skills, and an eye for detail, as you will be working on multiple proposals at the same time. Proposals often have a quick turnaround time; thus, you will need to able to work efficiently and to tight deadlines. Job satisfaction is high when you know you’ve been part of a proposal that’s been won!

This position would also involve supporting the central marketing team, and other members of the firm, in creating PowerPoint presentations and other adhoc support. It would be an ideal role for someone wanting to build their skills and experience in graphic design amongst general all round marketing experience.

Your responsibilities

  • Primarily to work with the proposals team on the creation and design of the proposals they are working on, these are usually created using a mixture of PowerPoint, and at times Adobe InDesign.
  • Secondly, to work with the national marketing team, supporting them with all their requirements surrounding digital brochures, insights, adverts, marketing campaigns, as well as printed brochures, pull up banners, event materials etc.
  • Work with the team and partners to create PowerPoint presentations.
  • Have high levels of attention to detail.
  • Be able to work within strict brand guidelines.
  • Have an excellent command of the English language, spelling, and grammar.
  • Work with our other highly experienced graphic designer and the proposals team against briefs.
  • There are also opportunities for you to support the marketing team on other general marketing activities including events.

Qualifications and skills

  • Essential to be experienced in using PowerPoint at an advanced level.
  • Essential to be experienced at using Adobe InDesign
  • Experience with working with professional services firms and / or working with pitch teams an advantage but not essential.
  • High level use and understanding of the English language, spelling / grammar / comprehension.
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Able to work under own steam but very much as part of a team, in a busy environment with tight deadlines
