Description

• Oversee the strategic management and development of the council's property portfolio.
• Lead the property department and manage a diverse team.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all properties.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage the property department's budget.
• Implement strategies to maximise the return on the council's property investments.
• Monitor and report on the condition of the council's properties.
• Drive initiatives to improve the sustainability of the council's properties.

Profile

A successful Property Services Manager should have:

• A degree in property management, real estate or a related field.
• Experience leading a property department in the public sector.
• Strong knowledge of property management and development.
• Experience managing a diverse property portfolio.
• Proven experience in strategic planning and budget management.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.

The role is based in Worcestershire and will require a hybrid office presence of 1-3 days a week.
