Days / Hours: Monday- Thursday / 09:00- 17:30 / Friday- 9:00- 17:00 / 1 in 4 Saturdays- 9:00- 13:00

Our client is a leading Lettings business based in Nottingham, specialising in the management of residential properties across the city and county. Position Overview:

As a Property Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the management of a diverse portfolio of circa 200 residential properties, alongside 3 other property managers. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the efficient and effective management of these properties while delivering exceptional service to both landlords and tenants. The position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, contributing to the growth and success of the organisation. The role benefits from administration support to assist with legal, compliance and other admin duties. This will allow you to focus confidently and more efficiently on the Property Manager role.

Responsibilities:

  • Property Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of properties, ensuring their smooth running and maintenance. Coordinate repairs, maintenance, inventories and inspections promptly to address any issues.
  • Tenant Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Landlord Relations: Foster strong relationships with landlords, providing regular updates on property performance, and rental income, and handling any queries or issues that may arise.
  • Compliance and Legal: Ensure all properties comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Inspections: Conduct periodic property inspections to assess the condition of properties, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Proven experience in property management or residential lettings or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of residential property laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with tenants, landlords, and team members.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving: Resourceful in resolving issues and conflicts that may arise during property management.
  • Technology: Proficiency in using property management software and standard office applications.
  • Full UK Driving License & Own Transport
