Position Overview:

The current vacancy requires a hands-on and focused property manager who thrives on a challenge and can work as part of a team or by themselves. The company are looking for an individual who is passionate about offering excellent service and who can tailor their approach to each client’s needs. This individual will be confident and have thorough attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Client

• Liaising with clients

• Fulfilling the business’ obligation to its clients; and

• Executing client agreements.

Marketing

• Promoting the business at every opportunity; and

• Advertising and media coverage.

Compliance

• Office compliance including health & safety matters

IT

• General IT management

Administration

• Preparing and checking external correspondence

• Filing and systems management

• Checking, proofing and verifying all external correspondence

• Answering incoming calls, taking messages, booking-in viewings, inspections and valuations

• Effectively deal with all maintenance calls and maintenance emails including instructing repairs,

following up on completed works whilst keeping the landlords fully and always informed

• Liaising with landlords and tenants on a regular basis about tenancy renewals, rent collection and

general property related issues

• Conducting quarterly inspections and reporting back to clients, as well as dealing with any maintenance reported during the inspection

• Complying with any legal obligations required including statutory health and safety regulations and

general compliance matters

• Issuing relevant notices on behalf of landlords

• Being responsible for ad-hoc administration and housekeeping tasks

• Assist the senior management team on a day-to-day basis

Standard documents

• Preparing inventories and check-out reports

• Raising and logging invoices

• Preparing proposals

Industry Standards & Best Practice

• Staying abreast of changes in legislation

• Implementing best-in-class practices

Contractors and third parties

• Liaising with and management of contractors

• Checking and authorising invoices for payment

• Obtaining and reviewing third party quotes, method state

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Good time-keeping and punctual attendance
  • A confident and positive manner
  • An ability to listen and learn
  • A willingness to follow instructions and complete set tasks
