Property Manager - Kent (Hybrid) - £35-42k

We’re working with a medium sized, long established, fully independent and highly reputable firm of Chartered Surveyors who provide a wide range of property services to long standing clients across Kent, London and the South East.

Within their block management team, which focuses on Kent and London, they now seek an additional Property Manager (Block) as follows:

• Working office based until settled, thereafter from home up to 2 days per week
• Office is close to Rochester, so you will need to live within sensible travelling range
• Overseeing 700 units, mostly in Kent with some in London (again meaning that a Kent base would best suit)
• Undertaking the full range of duties, from budget setting to contractor management, major works consultation, insurance and site inspections
• You will have a dedicated administrator and accounts assistant who will cover all aspects of admin, first line responses and data input, lightening the load to enable you to spend more time on site / dealing with works
• The incumbent property management team is diverse, friendly, vibrant and extremely supportive
• Scope to manage commercial property with training
• System used is PMS which is NOT cloud based, therefore access is "office only" meaning your assistant will update / provide info whilst you are out
• Own vehicle required, full HMRC mileage rate paid
• Position would suit those who have perhaps progressing from Lettings into Block and now wish to consolidate their experience in a professional RICS accredited setting
• IRPM supported in post

Whilst there are several firms in/around the area of Kent that our client is based, this particularly company RARELY recruit so please do not assume/confuse them with another company who you may see advertising often.

The successful Property Manager (Block) will work Mon-Fri 830am to 5pm with an hour for lunch and 4 weeks holiday plus public.
