Property Lawyer - (Land & Development)

TSR Legal are working with a South West law firm who now have a brand new opportunity for a Property Lawyer, 4 + PQE, to join their team in Swindon. This is a firm that has been recognised with the Law Society's Excellence Award for Innovation and has garnered accolades for outstanding customer service. With a strong presence across Wiltshire, the firm serves a diverse clientele across Hampshire, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Bath, London, and the UK.

The firm is seeking a dedicated individual to enhance the Land & Development team within the Commercial Department. The role demands managing a varied caseload, including site acquisitions and disposals, finance requirements, and complex contractual agreements. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in fostering robust client relationships and will play a pivotal role in business development through strategic networking and marketing initiatives.

Candidates must exhibit a track record in land & development work, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to delivering a high standard of service. The ability to work collaboratively, manage a demanding workload, and make decisive, responsible choices is paramount. Professionalism, self-motivation, and advanced IT proficiency are also essential. A full UK driving license and personal transport are required.

The firm also values the potential for supervisory responsibilities and welcomes those with people management experience or the desire to develop in this area.

In return, the firm offers a supportive environment where hard work and dedication are recognised and rewarded. Employees are encouraged to reach their full potential, supported by a culture that values each individual and their contribution. The ethos of the firm is to be dynamic, inspiring, and proactive, ensuring that every interaction reflects a commitment to excellence.

This role is not limited to the responsibilities listed and may include other tasks aligned with the position's general nature. Join a team where every member is driven to be brilliant, consistent, and reliable, delivering their best every time.

Benefits include:

  • Holiday entitlement of 25 days, plus bank holidays, your birthday off, and additional discretionary closure days over the festive season.
  • Workplace Pension Scheme after three months of service, complemented by a Death in Service Scheme for all fee earners. Senior Associates, Heads of Department, and Managers benefit from the added peace of mind provided by Private Medical Insurance.
  • Healthcare is further supported through a healthcare cash plan available after a qualifying period. For those commuting, the firm offers either on-site parking or parking permits for those residing outside the local area. Embrace the flexibility of agile working opportunities, dependent on your role, to support a harmonious work-life balance.
  • Join a vibrant community that celebrates success and camaraderie with firm-funded social events and fun days. Professional growth is encouraged with the firm covering the cost of professional body membership, support for study and qualifications, and a structured career path complemented by regular Performance and Development reviews.
  • The firm recognises the importance of giving back, with active involvement and support for nominated local charities and events. Celebrate milestones with a Length of Service & significant birthdays recognition scheme.
  • Referrals are rewarded handsomely through an Employee Refer a Friend scheme, with a generous bonus after a successful 6-month probation period. As a Lexcel and CQS accredited firm, excellence is a standard, and as a valued employee, enjoy discounted legal fees.
