Projects Estimator required for an established and expanding Construction & Engineering company:

  • Full-time opportunity based near Southampton.
  • Basic annual salary range £40,000 to £45,000 + Bonus.
  • Monday to Friday 42.5hrs per week.
  • Pension / Company Performance Related Profit Share / Career Progression / Company Vehicle.

We are recruiting for a Projects Estimator who can manage a busy estimation & projects function, assessing and quantifying resources required, deliver to client requirements, prepare quotations / documentation etc and attend site meetings.

The suitable candidate will be required to attend meetings, accurately assess client requirements, define sub-contractor requirements and take an active role in Project Management.

Suitable candidates will need to:

  • Hold a UK driving licence.
  • Have current Estimator/Projects experience gained within construction or engineering.
  • Strong communication and numeracy skills, with attention to detail.
  • Carry out site surveys & travel.
  • Read and interpret construction plans and engineering drawings.
  • Use MS Office (Word / Excel / Outlook) and CRM Database.
  • Travel and spend time away from home as and when required due to work schedules.
