We're seeking a skilled individual to join our dynamic project surveying team, responsible for delivering exceptional residential development projects across the vibrant landscape of the south of England. Based in Ossemsley, New Milton, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and innovation in the construction industry. As a member of our team, you'll be at the forefront of shaping communities and delivering projects that make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities as a Project Surveyor:

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in various facets of project management. Your responsibilities as a Project Surveyor will include:

  • Production of meticulous budgets
  • Strategic procurement and tendering
  • Efficient management of resources, utilities, and consultants
  • Preparation and processing of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Facilitation of project review meetings
  • Evaluation of project and budget progress, implementing corrective measures where necessary

What You will need:

  • Degree qualification in building or quantity surveying
  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Building is desirable
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience
  • Organisational ability
  • Experience of cost reporting procedures, CVR
  • Knowledge and user of a construction database, Sitestream, EQUE2 Housebuilding
  • Superior written and verbal communication
  • Sound judgement
  • Analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented, problem solver
  • Comfortable working under pressure and with competing demands
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of construction terminology
