Kenny Recruit are working with a very well established and important charity, in their search for a Corporate Project Officer.

Reporting to the Operations Director your role will be coordinating all organisational projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-today activities of a project to meet time and budget goals. You will be responsible for monitoring the progress being made and reporting back to the Operations Director on a regular basis.

As Corporate Project Officer we are seeking someone who has passion and confidence to broker current corporate relationships in a professional and efficient way. Your role will also support the Operations Director to develop new corporate relationships.

You will have excellent administrative skills, especially using excel, with project management tools experience being advantageous. Attention to detail and time management is crucial to ensure that projects are coordinated effectively. You will have strong communication skills to be able to work across all departments to ensure that projects are coordinated effectively. This role will also bring opportunity to manage small event projects from time to time, and as such organisational and methodological approach will be required.

This role requires the ability to problem-solve and multitask as you will be coordinating multiple aspects of a range of projects in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. You will be responsible for communicating all the opportunities, issues and risks of the project to the Operations Director and demonstrating a solution focused approach is a must to achieve in the role.

Pay: £28,500 - £32,000 per annum + benefits (dependent on experience)

Location: Crayford (hybrid working offered, 3 days in the office)

Working hours: 9.00am - 5.00pm

Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate all projects for the organisation so they meet required timescales and budgets.
  • To manage end to end project process overseeing the coordination of all aspects of the projects.
  • Assign and monitor task progress with internal teams and assist with schedule management.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
  • Lead and/or support face-to-face and virtual meetings
  • Seek out any new corporate opportunities to be considered by the Operations Director
  • To work closely with the Finance Business Manager to monitor income and expenditure of projects and raise any anomalies or changes to the Operations Director
  • Ensure project schedules are completed and up to date, liaising closely with all departments.
  • All project information is stored digitally in a clear and accessible way.
  • With the Operations director liaise with project partners to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives and act as a point of contact for project coordination.
  • Ensure all project work has a signed contract prior to execution.
  • Update the Operations Director through regular reporting.
  • Ensure that the reputation of the charity is protected at all times through effective implementation of any existing or new due diligence processes.
  • Adhere to all organisational policies and procedures.

Experience:

Essential:

  • At least 2 year’s proven work experience coordinating projects
  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans.
  • Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
  • Working with team members for the success of projects.
  • Proven experience of MS Product Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Relationship Management experience, preferably in the Commercial and or/Not for Profit sector(s).
  • Proven experience in business development and commercial income generation as well as managing budgets, forecasts and expenditure.
  • Experience in creating, implementing and managing commercial plans and activities, including monitoring achievement against outputs and outcomes.

Desirable:

  • Experience of third sector
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools
