Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to our regional legacy development programme working 15 hours a week on a 12-month FTC.

You’ll play a critical role enabling us to deliver on our fundraising objectives and be at the heart of creating successful supporter engagement for the long term.

You’ll project manage the next phase of the regional legacy development programme within our Fundraising team. The programme is currently in the latter stages of a pilot, and you will play an important role in helping us take the learning from the pilot to build out a national programme of activity in legacy development.

Please be aware that there will be some travelling to and working at Trust properties for project and programme meetings when required.

What it's like to work here

This role will sit in the Fundraising team alongside a cohort of brilliant people. The team lead for ‘Making it Happen’ and you’ll be well supported and connected to the people you’ll need to make the programme a success.

You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.

What you'll be doing

You'll coordinate and manage both the pilot and planned roll out of a wider programme of supporter legacy development at the National Trust. Your role will have a national focus given the scale of the programme and its aims.

The programme is at a key moment in its delivery and so a lot of the tasks will focus on establishing the right on-going programme structure, tracking and managing milestones associated with our deliverables working in collaboration with the Regional Legacy Development Managers (RLDMs)

Other tasks will include all the normal things you would expect to be doing as great project leader such as administering the board and steering group, managing the comms plan and keeping a track of how and who we talk to about the programme at the most relevant time.
