Your new role
As Construction Project Manager, reporting to construction director, you would be fully responsible for the delivery of this project. This project is a high profile £30million refurbishment and extension of a beloved community asset and architectural icon and, for a passionate builder, would be a great project to add to your portfolio. As Project Manager, your key role will be the management and engagement of your delivery team to deliver the project in line with programme, budget and quality, along with the positive management of external stakeholders. Stakeholder management and exceptional communication skills are essential in a project like this.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate is an experienced Construction Project Manager with a track record of the delivery of successful commercial projects previously. Ideally, you will be tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline, and you are comfortable looking at a project from every angle (commercial, design, operations, planning tec) and can add value at each stage. You are a leader, and you enjoy the challenge of developing a positive culture onsite based on respect and efficiency. Exceptional all round construction experience is essential as this project will challenge you from a technical and operational perspective.
