Teamwork Partnership Ltd is seeking skilled Project Manager to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Head of Projects (or Operations Director), the primary responsibility is the control and management of projects throughout their lifecycle.

The expectation is that the role is focused on managing allocated projects and maintaining agreed budgets and timelines, whilst meeting client expectations.

This Project Manager coordinates output from internal and external resources, leading allocated projects, supporting client and internal client teams, as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

OVERALL PROJECT PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT:

  • Develop project plans, including defining goals, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Monitor and control project progress, ensuring that it is on track and within budget.

SUPPORT MANAGEMENT:

  • Oversee a team of professionals involved in different aspects of the project, such as designers, engineers, and production staff.
  • Assign tasks, set expectations, and provide guidance to ensure effective teamwork and collaboration.
  • Check quality of information received to ensure project needs are met.

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT:

  • Interact with various stakeholders, such as clients, suppliers, and internal departments, to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns they may have.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders for the success of the project.

RISK AND ISSUE MANAGEMENT:

  • Identify potential risks and develop plans to minimise their impact on the project.
  • Track and address any issues or obstacles that arise during the project execution.

BUDGET SETTING AND MANAGEMENT:

  • Working closely with Estimating or developing own budgets.
  • Its key that budgets are maintained, and any risks managed and communicated in a timely and professional manner.

QUALITY CONTROL:

  • Ensure that the manufacturing process meets the required quality standards.
  • This includes conducting regular inspections, implementing quality assurance procedures, and resolving any quality-related issues.

RESOURCE COORDINATION:

  • Manage and coordinate options, through both internal and external resources, to ensure smooth production and timely delivery of display products.
  • Actively manage and expedite procurement and monitor resource utilisation throughout the project lifecycle to ensure schedules and costs are maintained.

COMMUNICATION AND REPORTING:

  • Responsible for regular communication and reporting on project progress using a LIVE CPA, managing milestones, and budget to internal and external stakeholders.
  • This may involve preparing status reports, conducting project meetings, and facilitating effective communication.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:

  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisation.
  • This may involve evaluating alternative manufacturing techniques, implementing lean manufacturing principles, or adopting new technologies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to the role.
  • Understanding of the manufacturing capabilities of the business and external supplier support.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £46,000.00 per year
