Join Our Client's Team as a Project Manager!

Role: Project Manager
Location: Just past Straiton
Hours: Full-time - Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Working pattern: Hybrid working pattern
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

About the Role: Are you ready to take the helm and lead exciting projects in our clients dynamic environment?

As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of overseeing and coordinating various projects across Operations, Research and Development, and Bioinformatics teams.

From initiation to completion, you'll ensure projects are delivered successfully, meeting timelines, budget constraints, and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Execution: Craft comprehensive project plans, coordinate with stakeholders, and oversee project execution.

  2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration among internal teams, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries.

  3. Resource Management: Effectively manage project resources, identifying and mitigating resource gaps or bottlenecks.

  4. Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate potential risks, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.

  5. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Uphold quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout project execution.

Skills and Experience Required:

Essential:

  • Proven project management experience
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Certified Practitioner Qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, SCRUM)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira).

Desirable:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or project management.
  • Experience in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., biotech, biology, biochemistry, molecular biology).
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the biotech industry.
  • Experience working in a multi-project startup environment.
