About the company;

My client is one of the leading UK suppliers and manufacturers of furniture for the hospitality industry. The client base includes interior designers, architects and project managers working on projects such as restaurants, bars, hotels, and universities.

Some of their recent work include projects such as The Shard, Curzon Cinemas, Marriott Hotels, Virgin Hotels, Maldron Hotels, Sky Gardens, Selfridges, McDonald's UK, Heathrow Airport Lounges, Raddison Hotels, The Collective, the National Maritime Museum and Cambridge University.

Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resources allocation. Create and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of all tasks and deliverables.
  2. Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project costs.
  3. Resource Management: Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to allocate resources effectively. Ensure all resources are utilized efficiently to meet project objectives.
  4. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. Proactively address issues as they arise and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.
  5. Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and regulations.
  6. Communication and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications. Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, issues, and resolutions. Foster positive relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  7. Contract Management: Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and other service providers. Ensure all contractual agreements are fulfilled and manage any contract-related disputes or issues.

Salary

Between 40,000 and 70,000
