Project Manager - Energy Sector (Hybrid) - Stafford - £35k - £40k per annum + company benefits

Our client is a well-established and successful Energy company based in Stafford; due to their continued growth and expansion they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their existing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of multiple small projects, working closely with our Scheme Coordinators to carry the project from beginning to end; they will lead meetings with funders, subcontractors, and internal teams to provide clear communication between all parties

Main responsibilities include:

  • Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple domestic retrofit projects.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple small project teams, ensuring project milestones are met and align with the overall strategic objectives.
  • Conducting regular status meetings and reporting on project progress to senior management.
  • Coordinating with technical experts, contractors, and funders to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Preparing detailed reports and presentations for senior management and funding bodies.

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Proven experience managing multiple projects, preferably in domestic retrofit or sustainable construction is essential
  • Strong knowledge of PAS2035 requirements and experience in implementing these standards is desirable.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
  • Previous experience of managing a team within a similar environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

Hours of Work - Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm with opportunity to work from home 2 days per week
