Project Estimator

As the demand for POS displays and exhibition stands increase, we are looking for an Estimator with experience in manufacturing to help us keep up with demand. Based in our Luton office, you will be part of a critical link in creating quotes for our variety of clients, helping them achieve their design aspirations consulting through the quotes you create on more efficient materials and methods to create their end goal.
 
BASIC SALARY: £40,000 - £50,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Project Estimator - Exhibition, Marketing and Digital Agency
 
This is an Estimator role, working closely with the sales team to produce estimations for projects for exhibition stands from initial design or for re installation. The aim of the role is ensuring that the commercial aspect of the design fits real-world practicality.
 
In addition, you will be:
· Working closely with the sales team on costings within a quote, whilst communicating a multitude of solutions that fit the requirements of the client.
· Required to advise on elements of the design ensuring they are financially viable compared to the budget set and practical to create.
· Managing the estimates for projects varying from £15,000 to £250,000 with an average of £30,000 - £55,000.
· To have the expectation to complete each individual quote within 2-3 days for each dependent on the complexity working on 10-15 quotes at any given time.
· Using internal software to produce estimates, which will be used by Project Management and Accounts to monitor and manage project spend.

To be successful in becoming our new Estimator, you will ideally have experience in estimating within a manufacturing environment. Any experience or exposure to the point of sales, point of purchase, retail display or exhibition stand would be advantageous.
 
It is essential that you:
· Have worked with a variety of materials such as Timber, Glass, Paper, Metal, Perspex and or Ceramics.
· Keep up to date with global events effecting price and availability of materials used.   
· Are computer illiterate ensuring that you are comfortable with a variety of software packages.
· Are a multi-tasker, being able to manage and prioritise your workload.
· Can communicate effectively when working with the sales team for quotes.
