Project Engineer

Due to growth in large complex projects, our client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their expanding project team. We're looking for a highly organized, self-disciplined, committed, and enthusiastic individual who thrives as an 'all-rounder'. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn on the job are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret project specifications.
  • Identify engineering problems and develop cost-effective solutions.
  • Make engineering design calculations and component selections.
  • Produce system design documentation and drawings.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and purchasing.
  • Collate Operation, Service, and Maintenance documentation.
  • Support Project Managers and provide document control.
  • Assist installation teams and support product development.
  • Ensure compliance with standards.

Requirements:

  • 2D AutoCAD Skills
  • IT Literacy in Microsoft Office
  • Desire to learn new skills and acquire product/system knowledge.
  • Practical and logical approach to problem-solving
  • Strong team player with initiative and a proactive approach
  • Commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • 3D AutoCAD or Revit Experience (highly desirable)
  • A Levels/NVQ/Degree in a technical subject
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications
