Project Engineer

Have you run production focused projects where you're responsible for getting physical products through a shop floor and out the door? This has a big supply chain element focused on production planning, purchasing and logistics

We are currently looking to appoint a Project Engineer for an SME manufacturer in Leeds. You need to have experience of project management, customer interaction, manufacturing and engineering, and good supply chain knowledge to flourish in this role. The appointed Project Engineer will be responsible for the control of production focused projects where the aim is to get a product made and shipped on time and to budget. As Project Engineer you should have a solid background in project management with a strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing. Youll be joining a well-established business with exciting plans for the future, a full order book, and will have a varied role with regular involvement with production, engineering, quality and supply chain functions.

* Manage multiple concurrent projects
* Regularly client facing, face-to-face and on Teams
* Dotted line management of production, test and assembly teams

* Experience in Project Engineering / Project Management
* An Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification is preferred
* Minimum of 3 years' experience working within a manufacturing focused company
* Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
* Experience of supply chain management activities
