Project Delivery Technician
Elevation Recruitment Group is on the hunt for 3 Project Delivery Technicians to join one of our key clients in Sheffield on 6-month fixed-term contracts starting in May 2024.
The roles will consist of 3 months training followed by 3 months project work and would be ideal opportunities for recent IT/Computing/ Networking Graduates in the Yorkshire area!
- Sheffield based, hybrid working offered once training is complete
- Salary £25,000 - £30,000
You will take ownership of the preparation and handover phases of the technical delivery of industry leading LAN and wireless data services to our clients new and existing customers
Key duties & responsibilities
- Setup of LAN and wireless networks
- Ordering site equipment in line with project budgets
- Configuring site equipment in-line with design documentation
- Provisioning LAN infrastructure using ZTP
- Creating and updating work packs / Plan of Works for installs
- Creating documentation for our Support team so they can assist with customer issues
- Supporting third parties with provisioning of their systems (CCTV, Door Access, etc.)
- Updating project stakeholders on install status
- Assisting Support teams with customer issues where required
- Managing equipment configuration deadlines ready for shipment
We are keen to speak with individuals who possess the following skills and experience:
Understanding of TCP/IP within an ISP environment
- Understanding and use of switching infrastructure and protocols
- Understanding, use and implementation of LAN and WAN technologies
- Understanding, use and implementation of wireless technologies
- Working knowledge of operating systems to include Windows and Linux
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- IT/networking degree, equivalent education, qualification, or experience
