Overview of the Project & Contract Manager:

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the overall management of operations of a recently signed new outsource contract. The Project Manager will also be supported by the Project Management Team and specialist in-house teams.

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract management, assigning actions to the wider operational in house teams to ensure successful contract delivery. You will provide the end client with regular and timely evaluation and reporting of the scheme and quality assurance information.

Project & Contract Manager Duties:

Leading contract meetings between the client and the wider business.

Tracking and reporting on contract and operational KPI’s.

Ensure all service based KPI's for the contract are achieved.

Coordinating activities daily to ensure all aspects of the client contract is delivered within the agreed budget.

Taking ownership and responsibility for addressing any areas of poor performance.

Oversee the contract implementation plan ensuring all key milestones are achieved.

Implementing and overseeing an effective change management process.

Developing and maintaining client relationships to ensure the successful execution of the agreed contract.

Managing the contract risk register, working with wider teams to ensure all risks are managed and mitigated.

Working with the Project Management Team, ensure that programmes are rolled out within agreed timeframes.

Work with the Product and Technical teams to ensure that the platform solution is to agreed specifications. (Ensuring that the platform continues to be fit for purpose as the scheme progresses).

Work closely with external partners to ensure the service is delivered to the expected level.

Work with the client, local partners and services to act as a point of contact for feedback and complaints. Investigate and work with the team to ensure that all complaints are investigated and resolved within the appropriate timeframes.

Oversee the training and engagement plan, ensuring that all contractual KPI’s are achieved, and that training is delivered to the expected standard.

Work between with the client, relevant bodies, and training providers to ensure that all training materials are keep up to date.

Work with key stakeholders in the marketing team to ensure all marketing materials are fit for purpose.

Review service and involve them in the development of an action plan to address any areas for improvement.

Monitoring client contracts, ensuring they are executed accurately and in line with company policies and guidelines.

Attend monthly / quarterly contract meetings, review and co-ordination of action responses arising from Contract review meetings.

Compile and analyse contract-related data to support decision-making and improve contract performance.

Act as a liaison between the parties, maintaining strong professional relationships.

Ensure compliance with all contract requirements, including the timely submission of reports and other documentation.

Identify and recommend opportunities for improving contract management processes and efficiencies.

Provide administrative support to the Contracts team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and managing correspondence.

Participate in projects related to contract management and service delivery enhancements.

Supervising contract execution to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Training, supervising and managing the contract team.

Maintaining, updating and improving contractual records.

What's in your DNA / Experience Needed?

Previous experience of managing teams to deliver commercial contracts & projects.

Experience of managing budgets

Stakeholder management

Contract management experience.

Able to prioritise own workload and flow and that of others.

Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of colleagues, customers, and clients.

Able to demonstrate sound judgement and decision-making skills.

Advanced and appropriate IT skills.

Auditing and KPI experience.

Experience in contract administration or related field, preferably within the healthcare sector.

Understanding contract frameworks and regulations.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
