Our client is part of a prestigious global engineering group and are considered as the market leader. Specifically, they design, develop and manufacture bespoke equipment and automation for the aerospace industry (please contact JMT for more detail).Our client is a small business with 20 employees, but are part of a global organisation who are considered as market leaders in their field.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to work alongside the Lead Project Engineer, also supporting the Mechanical Design Engineers on bespoke automation projects.

This is an amazing opportunity to work with an high-tech equipment manufacturer, working within the busy Engineering department, the Project Coordinator will take a key role in coordinating various projects, This role will report into the Lead Project Engineer.

The role of Project Coordinator:

• Coordination and execution of projects across site as a key member of the project teams.
• Day to day supervision and coordination of contractors.
• Regular update and facilitation of project meetings.
• Facilities expansion projects.
• New equipment projects.

Experience / Background Required:

• Experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Experience working with MS Project or similar software.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and get people organised.
