Project Accountant

Rutherford Briant are currently recruiting for a Project Accountant for a highly successful company based in Epping. Our client prides themselves on their extensive and impressive residential, commercial, and mixed-use portfolio which encompasses large parts of the UK, and they are widely considered to be one of London's leading construction businesses.

This role is a great opportunity for a finance professional who possesses experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, any project work and group/multi-site accounting. What you will do:

• Monthly summaries for projects, along with key analysis and reporting on findings
• Project accounting - cashflow forecasting and budgeting.
• Producing monthly management accounts
• Calculating and requesting funds
• Ensuring accurate and consistent journals are prepared and posted.
• Liaising with external Joint Venture Partners, internal Project Managers, Surveyors etc to maintain accurate reporting records and explore and respond to queries.
• Financial Business Partnering with various stakeholders around the business.
