Summary You’ll assist in the delivery and development of a programme of activities and events. By doing so, you’ll help to create an enjoyable experience for everyone that visits and help them understand more about our place.
Salary: £11.64 per hour. This salary will be applicable from 1st April 2024.
Hours: 18 hours per week, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Contract duration: Fixed term contract until 03-Nov-2024 What it's like to work here The small but ambitious team at the property work collaboratively together to provide access to the surrounding countryside and an engaging visitor experience which includes milling flour that can then be purchased onsite. A strong team spirit and collaborative working environment is key to the success of Houghton Mill and the staff are looking for flexible, creative people to join them. 
Houghton Mill is the last working watermill that exists on the River Ouse. With a charming riverside location, the property includes the Mill, a tearoom and a campsite.  What you'll be doing Working with the team you'll create and deliver events and activities that bring our place to life for our visitors all year round. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. You’ll help link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do. You’ll deliver high standards of presentation on site and ensure all our communications with our visitors around the property is clear and consistent.  Who we're looking for
