Professional Indemnity Underwriter - AU stepping up?

This is a newly created PI Underwriting role, with a syndicate who are looking to add a new underwriter to support with the profitable and sustainable growth that they have been enjoying.

This is a well-balanced portfolio, with a global spread of accounts (including US) where you will be writing a broad mix of traditional professions on both a primary and Excess basis and quite often in a lead position.

Our client is seeking an individual with a down to earth attitude, a willingness to learn from experienced underwriters, and ability to build relationships with brokers. We are open to considering individuals who are from a broker, MGA or carrier background, looking for a role that can offer steady progression.

You could be at the upper end of an Assistant Underwriter path and be keen to get your first Underwriter title. This opening offers longevity and development.
