- Ensuring labour is in place for scheduled works to be completed on time and in full in accordance with production guidelines.
- Review factory efficiency and make any changes necessary to improve them.
- Control maintenance of the facility and equipment. At present they have over 30 CNC machines on site.
- Ensure material availability matched production schedules with a focus on controlling costs and running a lean inventory.
To be successful in this role as a Production/Works Manager you will need:
- To have worked as a Production/Works manager previously within a manufacturing environment. Ideally within a Machining/CNC environment.
- Proven experience in leading teams
- Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement knowledge
The business offers a salary between £40k - £50k per annum with future shareholding options, 25 days holiday plus statutory days, pension, life insurance and free parking. But the real winner here is the potential career opportunity for the right person.
