Production Team Leader

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an innovative FMCG company based in Worksop to recruit a Production Team Leader to join their vibrant manufacturing facility as they enter their next phase of growth.

Hours: Days and nights rotational shift pattern - 12 hours per shift and plenty of rest days!

Reporting to the Shift Operations Manager, the Production Team Leader will support daily operations whilst leading a team to deliver on the production plan.  

Our client is looking for an experienced Production Team Leader with an excellent track record in an FMCG environment who can embrace the culture of the company and its values whilst leading a diverse team of production operatives.

Duties of the Production Team Leader include:

• Ensure daily handovers between departments are completed and any potential issues are discussed and documented
• Work closely with the procurement and planning team to ensure production output meets sales demand
• Provide supervision, support and leadership to the Production team and identifying areas to improve production processes and develop people
• Ensure that labour is managed effectively to ensure production can be maintained and daily targets are met to high standards of quality

 We would be keen to speak with Production Team Leaders with the following skills and experience :

• Strong production leadership background in an FMCG manufacturing environment with a collaborative management style
• Excellent communication skills with a ‘right first time’ mindset
• QHSE focussed
• Results driven, with a strong problem solving mindset with the ability to analyse production data and look for opportunities to improve

This is an ideal role for a Production Team Leader who enjoys a challenge and is keen to be involved with building a strong value orientated production team from the ground up.
