Job Requirement: Team Leader - Wipes Production - Rotating day shift 6-2 and 2-10 early finish on a Friday

Location: Lutterworth for 3 months and then permenant rotating shifts in Coalville

Summary: Team Leader required in our wipes production department. Lead a dedicated night shift team, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality output for our essential hygiene products.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Provide clear instructions and lead by example, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
• Operational Efficiency: Utilise MRP system, adapt to technology, and optimise production processes. PLC experience an advantage.
• Wet Wipes Expertise: Apply knowledge of wet wipes machines for efficient production and troubleshooting. (not essential )
• Coverage and Continuity: Manage team holidays, provide production cover, and collaborate with maintenance teams.
• Health and Safety: Uphold safety standards, promote awareness, and maintain a safe work environment.
• Performance Targets: Drive daily performance to meet production goals and initiate process improvements.
• Accountability: Take ownership of night shift operations, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Raw Material Management: Identify and requisition daily raw material needs for production.

Qualifications:

• Previous leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong communication and computer skills, MRP system proficiency.
• Familiarity with wet wipes machine operation or food packaging preferred.
• Effective team management and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to safety protocols and process enhancement.
