Are you an experience Production Support Engineer or Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge to work with an amazing manufacturing company in Fareham?

Tell me more:

As a Production Support Technician/Engineer you will be carrying out planned and preventative electrical maintenance activities on our production plant and equipment. You will be using your diagnostics skills to fault find and purpose solutions with Opto-Electronic assemblies and components.

The role is a great blend of hands-on and desk-based engineering within the operation team, which requires strong problem-solving skills and logical approach, excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Working Monday- Friday paying upto £36,000pa DOE.

What do you need?

  • Relevant electrical and/or electronic engineering qualification (minimum HNC or equivalent required)
  • Experience of electrical cables, wiring, harnesses etc
  • Ability to solder and rework through-hole, SMD components.
  • Ability to identify faults and debug issues with electronics systems at component, PCB, system level using standard test equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscopes etc.)
  • Aptitude in fault-finding and problem solving and using core skills to install and repair electrical/electronic assemblies to component level
  • A hands-on and self-motivated team player with ability to manage their own tasks with minimal supervision
