Our client is a bespoke supplier of engineered solutions for various industries including Automotive, Commercial, Agricultural, Defence, Retail, Seating, and Transit Media. Our client is a privately-owned business located near Birmingham City Centre.

Job Description:
Murray Myers is currently working with our client in Birmingham to find a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the full operation of production. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of 5 Team Leaders and ensuring the efficient and smooth running of all production processes.

Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of production personnel, including Team Leaders, to ensure that production targets and quality standards are met.
2. Plan and organize production schedules and workflow to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
3. Monitor production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase output.
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
5. Train, mentor, and provide feedback to production staff to develop their skills and improve performance.
6. Collaborate with other departments such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues and meet customer requirements.
7. Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure adequate stock availability for production.
8. Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction.
9. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization to improve profitability.
10. Prepare reports and maintain records of production activities, including production volumes, downtime, and quality metrics.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
2. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a manufacturing environment..
3. Strong knowledge of production processes and techniques.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and production management software.
7. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality management systems.
