Production Supervisor

MS474 - Production Supervisor 

Location: Derby 

Salary: £30.000 - £32,000 per annum + quarterly bonus 

Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently supporting one of our established and expanding businesses in the search for a Production Supervisor. The hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. 

Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage day to day production workload to ensure effective delivery.
• Manage overtime/weekend working requirements as necessary.
• Train and motivate production staff.
• Identify and raise issues which may affect delivery.
• Ensure all machinery is being used to its full potential.
• Ensure all machine maintenance is done and documented as required.
• Effectively manage material ordering.
• Low stock management.
• Stock take (maybe done in conjunction with production staff).
• Ensure all consumable items are well stocked and locked away if necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Full UK Driving Licence. 
• Experience of effectively managing and organising workload.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, and set priorities.
• Stay focused and calm under pressure.
• Able to use initiative and problem solving.
• Ability to motivate a team under pressure.
• Have an eye for detail.
