Location: Derby
Salary: £30.000 - £32,000 per annum + quarterly bonus
Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently supporting one of our established and expanding businesses in the search for a Production Supervisor. The hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day production workload to ensure effective delivery.
- Manage overtime/weekend working requirements as necessary.
- Train and motivate production staff.
- Identify and raise issues which may affect delivery.
- Ensure all machinery is being used to its full potential.
- Ensure all machine maintenance is done and documented as required.
- Effectively manage material ordering.
- Low stock management.
- Stock take (maybe done in conjunction with production staff).
- Ensure all consumable items are well stocked and locked away if necessary.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience of effectively managing and organising workload.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, and set priorities.
- Stay focused and calm under pressure.
- Able to use initiative and problem solving.
- Ability to motivate a team under pressure.
- Have an eye for detail.
