Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a rapidly growing manufacturing company in the search for a dynamic and driven Production Shift Manager to join their Leeds based factory.

Hours: Monday – Thursday Days (6am – 4pm) & Afters (4pm – 12am) rotating

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Production Shift Manager will sit within the Shift Management team and be responsible for driving and engaging a shift of approximately 30 operatives within a fast-paced environment.

Duties and responsibilities of the Production Shift Manager include:

  • Taking the lead in the identification and implementation of improvement activities
  • Plan and implement team (and individual) training plans to develop the level of multi-skilling in the team
  • Supporting and leading a culture of continuous improvement throughout the shift teams within your peer group and at operative level
  • OEE and data analysis to identify areas to improve machine performance
  • Driving production targets and shift performance overall with a focus on QHSE

We are keen to speak with Production Shift Managers with the following skills & experience:

  • IOSH ‘Managing Safely’ Qualification would be desirable
  • Strong leadership and communication skills and taking full accountability for your team
  • Understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Experienced at management level within a high volume, fast-paced manufacturing industry
  • Ability to influence and motivate a large team
