Production Shift Manager

The Shift Manager will work a mixture of 12 hour days and nights - 4-on-4-off and have managerial experience within an FMCG environment.

Description

• Drive accountability and the culture for safe working practices in partnership with the Health & Safety Lead and shift leadership team.
• Lead a production team to meet manufacturing targets.
• Responsible for all people management.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Promote a continuous improvement environment and pull a team together to identify and resolve the issue and partner with your counterparts to drive the solution.
• Drive the continuous improvement of operational metrics, performance, and improvements.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Managerial experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment
• Be a strong leader who has examples of coaching and developing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Experience with meeting targets, problem solving and have a proactive approach to their work.
• Understand the importance of Health and Safety,
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
