Due to rapid company expansion and an ever-growing order book, a manufacturer of systems and solutions are looking to recruit a forward thinking and innovative Production Scheduler to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and exciting influx of work.

You will be responsible for:

  • Creation and maintenance of a Production-based Capacity Plan
  • Regularly co-ordinate with Material Planning regarding the overall production schedule.
  • Be part of the New Orders meetings to ensure our customer schedule commitments can and will be met.
  • Liaising between the different departments within the company to share information in a timely manner.
  • Understand our Production Team capabilities to efficiently allocate workload.
  • In conjunction with Production, monitor the adherence to the schedules and adjust where required to make effective use of resources.
  • Monitor and report progress to schedules with the Production Manager.
  • Data entry and management within the business ERP system.
  • Pre checking / amending work order requirements prior to final production release.
  • Support Stock control of raw materials including safety stocks, monitor and report to purchasing any shortages / issues.

Experience:

  • Use of ERP/MRP System
  • Previous Planning, Scheduling experience
  • Experience of introducing new planning tools and techniques
  • Electronic assembly environment background
  • Numerate and accurate
  • Proficient in the use of MS office software (word and excel)

Due to the nature of the work, the client are only able to consider those with a British/ Irish Passport or UK Settled Status
