Production Planner
Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a Production Planner to work at their facility in Telford.
For the successful Production Planner our client is offering;
- Starting pay rate of £35,000 per annum
- Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5pm with a 2pm finish on Fridays
- Permanent position
- Life assurance x4 of the basic salary
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Annual bonus of 8.33% of basic annual salary
The Role of the Production Planner will include:
- Taking responsibility for Production Planning and ensuring that products are ready on time
- Working closely with the Scheduler
- Prepare and manage data for Sales / Planning meetings
- SAP key user for planning
- Preparation of monthly figures
- Communication with multiple stakeholders - Production, Maintenance, Procurement, Supply Chain & Customer Services
- Monthly production planning
- Attending weekly meetings with Customer Services to manage lead time requests
- Daily backlog management
What our client is looking for in a Production Planner:
- Our client is looking for somebody with Production Planning experience from a Manufacturing environment
- Experienced in the use of SAP, MRP / ERP systems
- Possess strong Microsoft Office based skills (Inclusive of Excel)
