Production Planner

A leading FMCG business based in the West Manchester area with hybrid working options are looking for a Production Planner to join their excellent team. As Production Planner you will support the planning of all manufactured materials produced on site.

You will be responsible for raising production orders and liaising with production leads to ensure products are produced and available to meet customer demand. This role requires excellent stakeholder engagement skills to work collaboratively with production to ensure production documentation and schedules are accurate to drive OTIF and minimise down time.

About the role:

• Create and maintain production plans using sales forecasts and inventory levels that align with the MPS
• Communicate and release production orders to production, ensuring plans can be delivered
• Monitor production efficiency and inventory levels to minimise excess stock and reduce carrying costs
• Maintain MRP integrity

About the person:

• Ideally degree qualified or overseas equivalent
• Strong production planning experience within FMCG ideally but other industries will be considered
• SAP experience would be beneficial
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
