Production Planner – Engineering

Are you an experienced Production Planner? Do you enjoy working autonomously and driving supply chain improvement?

We’re supporting an engineering business in Lincoln to recruit a Production Planner to join their close-knit team. This is a stand-alone position, so you’ll need to be confident in hitting the ground running.

That being said, you’ll have a good support system around you to help get you up to speed.

Day to day you’ll be responsible for:  

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production schedules that meet demand.
• Monitoring inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Analysing production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Actively participating in production meetings, providing insights and recommendations to optimize workflow and meet production targets.

You’ll need to have a strong working knowledge of MS Excel. Experience using ERP/MRP systems will also be needed.
