Production Planner, B Corp brand

We're delighted to be supporting a B Corp consumer product brand as they seek a talented Production Planner to join their team. You will play a pivotal role in managing the production operations across Europe, the UK, South Africa, and Turkey, ensuring a smooth and efficient production process. You will be positive, highly organised, have a sense of urgency and will have the ability to build and track critical paths to ensure production stays on track!

This role also offers fantastic career progression with the potential to develop into a Purchasing Manager position. As a Purchasing Manager, you'll take on extended responsibilities, including overseeing the China team responsible for production in China and other regions worldwide (ROW).

European Production Management Experience:

• The ideal candidate will bring 4-5 years of experience in European production management, showcasing a deep understanding of the region's manufacturing intricacies.

Supplier Management:

• You'll be directly responsible for overseeing suppliers throughout Europe, the UK, South Africa, and Turkey. Your ability to foster strong supplier partnerships will be vital in ensuring seamless production processes and timely deliveries.

Critical Path Management:

• You'll develop and maintain critical paths to guarantee timely delivery of goods, adeptly managing production schedules and proactively identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks.

Supplier Visits:

• You'll be happy to travel to visit suppliers as required, overseeing production processes, addressing issues, and reinforcing collaborative partnerships.

Effective Communication:

• You'll excel in having challenging conversations with suppliers when necessary, resolving disputes, negotiating terms, or addressing performance issues while maintaining professionalism and cooperation.

• 4-5 years of experience in production planning within the consumer products industry.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and principles.
• Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in critical path management and project management tools.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
