MDH Recruitment are recruiting for a dayshift production operator for our client based in Loanhead. This is a full-time role where you will have the opportunity to work with a well-run business where you will be able to develop your career in the manufacturing industry.

Start date for this role is ASAP

This is a dayshift role, Monday to Friday. NO WEEKEND WORK. 8am to 4.30pm.

£11.44 per hour - Weekly pay.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to produce parts that meet our clients’ high-quality standards. This role involves setting up machine and monitoring the production for quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up machines for production runs, including installing moulds and setting machine parameters based on the product specifications.
  • Monitor the production process to identify adjustments in machine settings or materials to improve the quality and efficiency of production.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating parts, to prevent malfunctions and extend machine lifespan.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions and product quality issues promptly.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment would be a big plus.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
